A home among oak and buransh trees

Three bedrooms, an orchard, and a hillside of oak and buransh trees — a quiet house to stay slow in.

Enquire about a stay

Built into the hillside, not on top of it

The house sits among an oak forest, wild hydrangea and other seasonal flowers, and a small orchard the family has kept for years. Inside, wood-beamed ceilings and hand-carved furniture; outside, a stone path winds down through the reserved forest. It's the kind of place you come to for a few quiet days — to read on the deck, walk the ridge, and watch the light move across the valley.

Living room with white sofas and a Tibetan dragon rug

A house that was lived in first, styled second

Cane sofas, hand-knotted Himalayan rugs and silk Kashmiri carpets, and furniture collected over years rather than bought for a brochure. The drawing room opens onto the wooden deck through a wide window — good light most of the day, and better in the evening, when the hills go soft and pink and one can walk into the forest area.
